BY-LAWS

All cemeteries in Ontario are regulated by the Ministry of Government and Consumer Services, Cemeteries Regulation Branch.  The regulations set forth in the Funeral, Burial and Cremation Services Act, ensure the rights of the public are protected. Separate from the provincial regulations, each cemetery is allowed to set its own by-laws governing its operations. The focus of the by-laws is to ensure the cemetery is run effectively; the by-laws must be approved by the Registrar, Ministry of Government and Consumer Services, Cemeteries Regulation Branch .

By-laws for the Operation of St. Mary's and Holy Cross Cemeteries are available at our administrative offices at 132 Golf Club Road in North Bay. You may obtain your own copy by emailing us at info@nbrcc.ca .
